Daily Challenge 02--Favorite Movie

I'm totally cheating with this blog.  It originally appeared on my old blog in May of 2008.  But the answers haven't changed in two years :)  I have a couple new posts bouncing around in my head plus I've got some stuff to do but I still wanted to do the whole 30-days thing....Also, eventually I'd like to incorporate my favorite entries from that blog over here :)
I'm going to start off by saying that I have awful taste in movies.  You aren't going to find any inspirational messages on this list--no spiritual or intellectual enlightenment.  What you will find is a lot of low brow humor and goofiness.  I LOVE stupid comedies and there will be plenty of stupidity on this list.

1.  The AUSTIN POWERS movies---Yeah Baby!! Hands down my absolute favorite movies EVER!!!
2.  DODGEBALL---Honestly an almost tie for first.  Cracks me up every single time.
3. and 4. 50 FIRST DATES and SWEET HOME ALABAMA--I'm not a big fan of epic romances or really sappy movies but the romantic girl in me loves these for the quirky, the funny and the romance.
5.  SECRETARY--not a stupid movie at all.  It's quirky, funny, sexy and sweet.  If you haven't seen it...go check it out!

6.  Almost every movie by KEVIN SMITH.  There are a couple I didn't really like but for the most part...if he made it....I'll LOVE it.  Particular favorites are:  DOGMA, CHASING AMY, and MALLRATS.
7.THE WEDDING SINGER
8.THERE'S SOMETHING ABOUT MARY
9.MY COUSIN VINNY---If you read my bucket list blog (which you probably haven't if you weren't a follower of my old blog LOL) then you know how much I want to be able to do a British accent.  No amount of Austin Powers has helped me with that but I do a great New Yawk accent thanks to Marisa Tomei.  Oh yeah, and the movie is hilarious!

10.  SHREK---This movie is fun and enjoyable whether you are 3 or 93.
11. and 12. THE GOONIES and THE LOST BOYS--- As a pre-teen of the 80's, I had a HUGE crush on Corey Feldman and even though I wore these VHS tapes out a long time ago, I could still sit down and enjoy these two movies today.
13.  THE PRINCESS BRIDE-- I didn't see this movie until a few years ago when Jeff bought it on DVD.  You all knew it was awesome, it just took me a little while to find out.
14.  ALADDIN---My favorite Disney movie.  It rocks!!!

15.  TOY STORY 1 and 2---Is it wrong that I prefer the sequel to the original?  And it's the "outtakes" that are the best.  How can you not laugh when all the monkeys hop into Mr. Potato Head's butt compartment?
16.  CLUELESS---this is probably my 'gee I might actually be too embarrassed to mention that I actually like this movie' movie.  But there....I said it.  I adore this movie.
17.  STAND BY ME---yeah, sure it's got Corey Feldman in it again but that's beside the point.  This is a great movie based on a great book. And I'm proud to say that I read the book first (in the 7th grade) before I saw the movie.
18.  LITTLE MISS SUNSHINE
19.  NATIONAL TREASURE---this is one of my oldest son's favorite movies.  We've watched it together so many times.  Not only do I enjoy it, but WE get to enjoy it together so that makes it even better.

20.  TWISTER---I love the action, the romance, the flying cows...and the fact that Helen Hunt has never looked hotter.
Well that's it!  My 20 favorite movies.....the good, the bad and the stupid.  What's your favorite movie?
