What I'm Loving Right Now (Fall Edition)

I've really been rather suck-ish at keeping up with my favorites lists.  But somewhere between classes, clinicals at the hospital, work, kids and pretty much life in general...I've managed to still assemble a little collection of new (new to me, anyway) stuff that has quickly become my go-to stuff for the moment.

OHWTO's BLACK MAGIC SOAP
I was so excited to get my OHWTO order that I didn't take pictures of anything.  This soap totally lives up to all it's hype.  After just a few uses, I could definitely see a difference in my skin.  Even Jeff noticed!  He looked at me, fresh out of the shower, and he told me that my face looked brighter, cleaner, and fresher looking.  And I LOVE the way it smells.  If you purchase anything from OHWTO, it should be this!  www.ohwto.com

URBAN DECAY LIQUID LINER IN RADIUM
I love the color of this!  I've been using this a lot when I need to do a simple look.  Just throw some of this on...do some nice thick, winged liner and my basic face makeup...and I'm good to go.

WET N' WILD LIPSTICK IN 522A
I still have a love/hate relationship with lip products.  I love how they look, I love how they pull together my look, I hate how they feel on my lips.  But Rite Aid was having a 60% off sale and I got a bunch of lipsticks for 49 cents!  This is my favorite of the bunch.  It makes me feel fierce!

Taken on my way out to dinner with Jeff and the kids.  I look kind of smarmy or something but the pic shows the lipstick off pretty well :)

HARD CANDY GLOSSAHOLIC GLOSS IN FABULOUS
I suppose this gloss is pretty pointless...because I keep eating it!  I think it tastes delicious.  Aside from that, I like the extra large doe-foot applicator and the sparkly flakies.
Blurry gloss pic for the win!
 Very pretty!

COLORED CLIP IN HAIR PIECES
I don't have a problem putting colored streaks in my hair.  However, it isn't appropriate for school.  One of my Facebook friends suggested that I try some clip-ins.  I bought a purple set and a blue set.  I've been getting lots of compliments on them.  They've quickly become my new favorite accessory.
I like them a lot.  Eyes done with the Kat Von D Metal Orchestra palette.  I'm still on the fence about that product.

What are your favorites lately?

Party on my eyeballz! (Happy Birthday EOTD)

Today is my birthday!  I'm refusing to age any more so let's just say I'm turning 27.....again (I've been 27 for years now!)

I did absolutely nothing for my birthday.  It was just an ordinary day.  Later in the week, the family and I will have a celebration dinner of Tacos (my absolute favorite meal) and Pineapple Upside-down Cake (my favorite cake!).  But for today it was just running errands and lounging around.

So I got to thinking....if I couldn't have a party today....I could at least have a party ON MY EYEBALLS!!!!  (I was inspired by the recent look by Vintage or Tacky...which was amazing!)

I used:
Crease:  Sugarpill Poison Plum, 120 Palette (medium purple, raspberry)
Deep Crease:  Urban Decay Oil SlickHighlight:  Sugarpill Tako (to blend out) Urban Decay Grifter (browbone and inner corners)
Lid:  120 Palette (raspberry shade), NYX glitter in Pink and Hot PinkUrban Decay Flash (lower lashline)
Physician's Formula Eye Booster Felt tip eyelinerMaybelline Define a line eyeliner in black (waterline/tightline)
Maybelline Great Lash Mascara (the super black one)

and of course...my camera doesn't even come close to capturing the awesomeness of it!

Do you have a special meal that you like to eat on your birthday?  What's your favorite kind of cake?

August Favorites

It's that time again.  Time to take a peek into my makeup stash and see what items I've been using the most!

URBAN DECAY EYESHADOW TRANSFORMATION POTION

That's a mighty long name for a product! (Did I even get it right? I'm totally guessing!)  I know there are plenty of different techniques and products out there that are used for applying eyeshadow as eyeliner.  I also know that I haven't tried any of them.  Except this one.  I really love the brush--I wish all liquid eyeliner had this brush.  I think my winged liner comes out far better when I use this stuff.  Plus there's the novelty factor of being able to have almost any color eyeliner I want without having to go out and buy them!  The best part was that I bought it on sale for $5!

996 (EYESHADOW) FROM MY PRETTY ZOMBIE

I have a review in the works for My Pretty Zombie but I haven't had a chance to test drive all my stuff yet.  However....this eyeshadow was love at first sight.  I'm a sucker for blue and I'm not ever afraid to wear it.  This is one of the brightest, boldest, most awesome blues that I own.  Yesterday, I wore it using the UD Transformation Potion and did some majorly bold winged-out liner.  It. was. awesome.

Speaking of blues....

BOTH DARK BLUES FROM WnW'S 'BLUE HAD ME AT HELLO' PALETTE
I know I featured the whole palette as a favorite previously, but I have new admiration for the dark blues in this palette (maybe the sparkly black that's in there too....).  Every blue look I've done lately has featured those darker blues in the crease.

Which brings me to this photo:
This is the above mentioned 996 paired with the WnW dark blues....LOVE this!

and last but not least....

MILANI 3-D GLITZY GLAMOUR GLOSS IN STARSHINE
(phew! Another long name!)
(The gloss in question is the first one on the left in the bottom row)

Lip products are so not my thing.  I want them to be.  I've bought many products hoping that they'd be the miracle product that I would want to put on my lips every day.  This isn't that miracle either--but it's SUPER DUPER SPARKLY!!!! And I can't resist sparkles and glitter.  I've worn it over other colors and it gives them that little somethin' extra, but mostly I've been wearing it alone because...honestly...I'm just too lazy.  I rarely even wear lip stuff unless it's a really special occasion, but I've been finding myself wearing this one for just any old time.  Must be the sparkles.  Sparkles, like bacon, make everything better. (Or is that just me?)

What have you guys been loving lately?

Hauling Queen (and a simple LOTD)

I did a little shopping recently.  We'll call it retail therapy...since I've been dealing with some stuff in my life and needed a boost.  I probably shouldn't have spent the money...and my one credit card is probably huddled over in the corner crying...but this is the absolute last stuff I'm buying for a really long time (barring necessities).  Despite my bad judgement...I love what I bought and I'm really happy with most of my purchases :)

WHAT I BOUGHT.....

**Awesome, super-cool Hello Kitty tote bag from Loungefly
**Milani
Lip Flash in:  Hot Flash, Lip Flash, Flashy, and In a Flash (I also pictured Starflash...but I already owned that one...I'm a goof!)
**Milani Lip glosses in:  Starshine and Stylish
**Milani Baked Powder Blush in:  Luminoso
**Urban Decay Ink for Eyes in:  Pyrotechnics
**Urban Decay  Pocket Rocket Lip Gloss in: Julio
**Urban Decay Eyeshadow Transformation Potion
Lip Stuffs Swatches:

(Top Row:  In a Flash, Lip Flash, Hot Flash, Flashy, Starflash.  Bottom Row:  Starshine, Stylish, Julio)

I also placed an order from Epically Epic Soap Company.  But that's soap.  Soap is a necessity.  And I NEEDED pretty smelling soap!!

I bought....
 GRANOLA BAR and...
 LEMON POPPYSEED CAKE

All right....I also bought Yellow Cake scented Roll-on perfume and Mimosa flavored lip balm.  But I still insist that THIS was a necessity order! :-P
I've been fairly uninspired lately with my makeup.  I've been sticking to looks that are comfortable and familiar...looks I've posted before...so that's why I haven't really posted anything new in a while.  I was dying to play with the Urban Decay Transformation Potion though (purchased for $5 on HauteLook) so I did this neutral eye with bright eyeliner look.

(I swear this looked waayyy better in real life!!)

So...have you guys made any fun purchases lately?  I'd love links to your haul posts!! :)

A "Pretty" good week :)

Just doing a quick catch up on a few looks that I've done lately but haven't had a chance to post.  Usually, I do make up once or twice a week (usually when I'm going out for the day or for school on Friday night) but this past week, I've set a little time aside during my day to play around.  Even though I really had no where to go and nothing in particular to do, I've been having a lot of fun doing it anyway.

This first one was inspired by this tutorial.  I really like trying to copy my favorite looks from other people, using the products I own.  I like the challenge :)  Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, right???
I used:
120 Palette the darkest bright pink
Sugarpill Poison Plum
Wet n' Wild Blue Had Me at Hello--the navy-ish blue on the right hand side
NYX JEP Milk

The next one I didn't really "copy" anyone exactly.  But I was inspired by MUG's Flower Challenge.  I thought of pansies and came up with this.
I used:
Concrete Minerals UnitySugarpill Poison PlumSugarpill Buttercupcake
Sugarpill Tako

This one, below, is my favorite of the past week.  Most likely because I really love blues.  April is Autism Awareness Month and, just like last year (holy guacamole...my little blog is a year old!!!! Where did the time go???) I did a blue look to celebrate.  For those of you who may not know, my 8 year old son, Ian-Thayer (we call him Bear), is on the Autism Spectrum.  My close up shots came out pretty crappy but I do have a couple full face pics that I thought were pretty decent!

This one was pretty simple and I used Fyrinnae FuturisticGlamrock and Sugarpill Afterparty, Lips are Urban Decay lip gloss in Naked:

That's it for this time.  Hope everyone has a really great weekend!

LOTD: This Mom Rocks!

The inspiration for the title of this LOTD comes from two places.  One:  I tried my hand at Makeup Geek's "How to look Rocker-Chic" tutorial....and Two:  my favorite shirt is a T-shirt which has "This mom rocks" embossed across the front in glitter and sequins (unfortunately I've worn it so much that the sequins have started falling off and the shirt is swiftly on the way to saying 'This mom ocks' LOL).  But since it's still my favorite shirt, I figured why not pair my rockin' shirt with some rockin' makeup.

Of course, I don't own any of the products Marlena used in her video.  So I made what I felt were reasonable substitutions.  I think it came out pretty good :)

I used:
Concrete Minerals Electric Eye Primer
Sugarpill Bulletproof (Wing)
120 Palette (Marbled Gray/Lid and Dark Brown/Crease)
Sugarpill Tako (Highlight and Blending)
Urban Decay Midnight Cowboy Rides Again (Inner Corners)
Milani Liquif-eye eyelinerMaybelline Falsies Mascara

(I realize this one is a little smeared underneath...I did clean it up before I went out...But otherwise, I liked this pic)

Overall, I was pretty happy with the way this one turned out and I think I'm going to try the general technique with some different colors.

That's it for tonight!

Shopping Fool

I recently had a chance to go on somewhat of a shopping spree.  I went a little crazy (for me) buying things that I've been wanting for a while.

A pic of most of my haul...please ignore the dollar store makeup wipes in the background :)
My sister and I hit Sephora on Valentine's Day.  She and I both bought a Hello Kitty roll-on perfume and I bought a sample bottle of Urban Decay All-nighter spray.  I couldn't bring myself to spring for the Stila blush with the hearts on it (yes, I am THAT lazy not to go and look up it's proper name), so I ran across the hall to CVS and got the Physician's Formula version.

I'm not especially skilled at the whole blush thing and I'm not sure if this is the right one for me.  It is awfully cute though and I really like how it smells :)  I also picked up the PF eyeliner set for green eyes.

I'd been wanting to place another order with Epically Epic Soap Co. I loved everything that I had ordered last time.  I picked up some soaps (a lilac one for me and a lavender one for Addy) and a yellow cake scented hydrating mist.  Yellow Cake is just about the best smelling anything ever!!

Then I got some solids lotions--LOVE them!  I bought one in Oatmeal, Milk and Honey because that's my favorite scent (so far).  I also picked up one in Basmati Rice and Midnight.  The last one was originally for Addy but once she smelled it she was unimpressed.  She combed the Etsy site for what seemed like an hour, reading all the descriptions before she settled on Midnight.  It doesn't smell bad (quite the opposite), it's just not a smell for a 9-year old girl and she decided that she really didn't want it.  I'm thinking about keeping it aside for a giveaway :)
We also got some lip balm.  I got Turkish Coffee and Addy got Shamrock Shake.  I've said in the past that I'm not a fan of mint.  Addy is and she LOVES this lip balm!

And my major purchase in all this shopping spree madness?  I got my first SUGARPILL!!!!!  Of course, I posted pictures, because you haven't seen enough of them everywhere else :)

I am such a dork.  I've done just one look with them so far and I practically had to force myself to break into the palette.  They are just SO PRETTY and I'm having trouble actually using them because I don't want to mess them up.

This is going to be the last makeup and stuff I buy for a while...but I think it's enough--for now.

Eyeliner Woes!

Make-up has been my passion/hobby for roughly two years now.  I'd always wanted to learn how to apply eyeshadow without looking like a toddler that had messed around at her mama's vanity.  I had no idea the amount of information that would be available to me.

Like so many people like me, blogs and videos supply us with ideas, recommendations, and opinions.  And even though opinions may vary from person to person slightly, I think there are some products that are almost unanimously thought to be the best at what they're for.

Like Urban Decay 24/7 eyeliner.

I don't have a lot of disposable income.  I have four kids and a job that doesn't pay all that great.  I have bills on top of bills.  So when I do have money to splurge on makeup, I tend to think very carefully on my decision.  I have a wish list, of course, but I try to get the most for my money.  I try to *invest* in products that I know will serve me well based on what I've read.

Spending $17 for an eyeliner is a big deal--at least for me.  But it was last year's tax refund and I was rich for a minute so I bought two--a zero and a flipside.

I've always heard how smooth and creamy they are.  How they don't budge one you've applied them.  They are the mostawesomethingeveromgyouhavetohavethiseyelineroryou'lldie.

I had a really difficult time getting it to glide across my eyelid.  I had to press down really hard to get even a small amount of waterline coverage.  I shouldn't have to scrape across my eyes to get decent coverage...right?

I'm not sure why I even did this:  but I went to the store searching for a new eyeliner and I bought the Covergirl liquiline blast (or whatever it's actually called...did I get it right?  I'm nowhere near my "toys" lol) which is supposedly a knock-off of the UD liners.  I don't know what I was thinking but maybe I was hoping they'd at least be a little softer.

Nope.  I still can't get it right.

My go-to low end eyeliner is Maybelline Define-a-Line.  Which is more of a crayon consistency than pencil.  It glides like a dream BUT it's crap in the waterline and rubs off really easily.

I'm still learning liquid and gel liners so I've been buying cheapest of the cheap--for practice.  Truthfully, although I like the liquid look...I just don't like it all the time.

I NEED a good pencil eyeliner.  I need one that goes on soft like my beloved Define-a-line but can deliver everything (or mostly everything) I had hoped Urban Decay would.

I'm calling out to you guys, my lovely followers, to give me suggestions.
  • What pencil eyeliners do you love?
  • Is UD 24/7 your holy grail eyeliner?  Why?
  • Did I get a faulty product?  Am I doing something wrong?
  • What are your favorite high end/low end eyeliners?
Thanks guys!

Busy, Busy!

School has really got me hopping!  I finished my Biology paper and now I'm working on a research project that has five separate tasks involved.  I'm doing well, but it's definitely keeping me busy.  I'm sorry I haven't had much time to post anything.  But...with the kids back in school, I should have more time on my hands for both schoolwork and fun stuff like blogging :)

I do have two looks to share.  Neither is anything overly special, but i figured I'd post them anyway.  Also, I took a big leap and CHOPPED ALL MY HAIR OFF!!!!  I went from straight down past my shoulders to short, choppy and barely touching my chin!  And...it's way shorter than that in the back.  So far, I'm loving my new 'do, it's so much easier to take care of.

The looks....
This one is a silvery smoky eye done with Sassy Minerals Merlin's Ball and my 120 palette (it was way more sparkly in real life.  Merlin's Ball is one of my favorite colors, especially over Pixie Epoxy)

This is my version of Jangsara's 'Fangbanger' tutorial.  I've done dark, goth-ish eyes before, but her way was sooo much easier than what I usually do.  I definitely think this one's a keeper!  I used NYX black bean JEP like she did but then I just used the black and white from my 120 palette.  My lips are Urban Decay's Guys Love Betsy lip gloss.

And....just to add some cuteness factor to my blog...here's my Mathias yesterday before his first day of Pre-K!

That's it for this time.  Have a great weekend everyone :)

Two looks before the weekend (and my sad tale of woe that has a happy ending)

This has been the most stressful ten days that I've had in quite some time!  Our car broke down last week.  We've only had it for four months.  The extended warranty refused to cover the repairs and the dealership's 90-day warranty expired last month.  And even if we had the money to cover the $2800 in repairs--the transmission might still need to be replaced!!!  We live in a semi-rural area and we're dependent on our vehicle to get us just about everywhere.  That's why we made the decision to purchase a car from a dealer and get an extended warranty--we wanted peace of mind that stuff like this wasn't going to happen.

My mom has been nice enough to take us to the laundromat and grocery store.  She let me spend the night at her house and brought me to school last weekend.

I just honestly haven't felt like doing much in the way of my make up though.  I did one look last Friday and one today.

On a positive note....Alex has been calling the dealership almost everyday and fighting with them.  Finally, we got good news.  The extended warranty company was convinced to cover the $2800 of repairs AND replace the transmission!!!  We just have to cover the deductible.  Woo Hoo!!!!

On to the looks....

Last Friday I was inspired by Robyn at  Stay Beautiful.  She did a series of Retro/Pin-Up posts.  I've never been able to get the pin-up look quite right but this is the best attempt I've done.  I didn't hate it :)
I used my 120 palette, Maybelline Lineur Intense eyeliner, and Maybelline Define-a-line eyeliner.

For my lips, I used Fyrinnae's Acidic Cherry and Urban Decay's Guys Love Betsy Lip Gloss

I look goofy and sleepy here but it was the best full face shot I took :)
(I had my headphones in listening to an audiobook)

Today, since I was in such a good mood, I wanted to do something very cheerful.  I was inspired by Jazziebabycakes To Infinity and Beyond tutorial.  I didn't do nearly as good a job, but I like it. :)

I used NYX JEP in Horseradish and Milk(inner corners and in my sad double wing attempt), Concrete Minerals' Juvenile, Concrete Minerals' Swamped, Sassy Minerals' Reflecting Pool(over Fyrinnae Pixie Epoxy)

Lips are Fyrinnae Deceptive Innocence--just because I couldn't decide what I wanted to do with my lips.
Just wanted to say that school is going well.  I did really well on the three tests that I took last Saturday.  I got a 100 and 105 on my two Medical Terminology tests and a 94 on my Biology exam.

Have a great weekend everybody!!!

Sexy Nerd Alert!

The Northeast has been having a massive heatwave.  The temperatures have been in the high 90's but with the heat index (or whatever it's called) it's felt like triple digit weather!  It's been stifling and oppressive, to say the least, and I haven't much felt like wearing clothes--let alone makeup! :)

But today it was only 88 degrees (Farenheit) and I had to go out and run some errands so I did do a LOTD.  I thought it came out nice enough.  Neutrals aren't really my favorite thing to do but I couldn't decide on colors and I was running out of time.  This is what I came up with:

Thursday, July 1, 2010

Back in the swing of things :)

This is my first attempt at makeup with any real effort since my eye infection.  It was inspired by the shirt I wanted to wear today:

It's just a cheap t-shirt from Wal-Mart but it's black, purple and hot pink.  Plus it has a bunch of sparkly glitter on it which makes it one of my favorites :)

I also purchased my first NYX jumbo pencils last weekend and I've been itching to try them out.  I think I got a really great deal on them.  I won 3 of them in an ebay auction for $4!!!!  Since they normally run about four dollars apiece, it's like I got two for free--and I loves me some free stuff!  The three I picked out were milk (of course), black bean, and horseradish.

Because I think I look terrible in pink (which is a shame because I adore hot pink looks) I made this look a simple purple and black.

I used the black bean jumbo pencil as a base, and black and dark purple from my 120 palette.  Although I decided not to post a full face shot, I was wearing Urban Decay XXX shine cooling lip gloss in Naked.  I'm really not a fan of lip gloss but out of all the glosses I've tried these are my favorite.  I know the tingling probably puts some people off but I really like it and they don't make my lips feel uncomfortable like most glosses do.  I love the color.  It's like my bare lips--just better!

**Today's Tidbits**

My Mood:  Cheerful!  Didn't do much today, just ran to the hardware store for a special screwdriver.  But it was a beautiful day and I was blissfully lazy.  I got to spend quality time with  my loved ones and play with my makeup.  How could that not be a great day???

My Song:  I'm going to pick a whole album today.  I just picked up the new Eminem album, Recovery and I loved it.  I'm a big fan and it didn't disappoint.

My Look:  I paired up the makeup and tee with my denim mini-skirt and a pair of flip flops.  My hair was thrown up in a messy bun.  A lazy look for a lazy day :)

My Dinner:  We had a 'Big Booty Salad' again.  It's such a favorite that my daughter asks for it every week when I'm making our menu/grocery list.  Diet Dr. Pepper to drink.

Yesterday's LOTD--pretty greens

I'm still kind of mad that my pictures from the other day disappeared.  I lost all the shots of my Bear's graduation.  It was a really lame ceremony (lasted maybe 7 minutes, if that) but it was really important to him and it's upsetting there's no photos to remember it by :(

I lost my makeup pictures for that day too.  Which, in the grand scheme of things, is really no big deal because I can (and probably will) recreate the look sometime in the future.

But it's because of my picture's magical disappearing act, that I even attempted to put on makeup yesterday.  I only got 2 1/2 hours sleep the night before and had a meeting to attend in the middle of the afternoon--on my day off!  I wanted to have something to post but I was also grumpy and hoped that having a pretty face might cheer me up a little :)

I also bought some gel liner on Tuesday, so this was a practice session as well. (I really can not get the whole gel liner thing down)

Daily Challenge 11/12--I'm such a cheater!

I'm totally cheating at this daily challenge stuff!

But it's okay, because days 11 and 12 can go together :)

Post a recent photo of yourself/whatever tickles your fancy.

And....you can't get anymore recent than today!

I had to go to school to take my entrance exam and this is the makeup I did.

Daily Challenge 06--Whatever tickles my fancy

I finally got up off my butt and called about going back to school.

I made an appointment and went there today for an informational meeting.

I'm really excited.  I can go all day, just one day a week--and occasionally one extra evening.  This fits in so well with my work and family schedules.  I can't wait!

It's not official yet.  I have to take an entrance test and they need to see what my tenth grade math and science scores were.  They need to be a C or better.  They weren't my best subjects, but I believe I was at least a C student.  But then again.....that was almost twenty years ago--who can remember that long ago!  I go there on Tuesday to take the entrance exam and by then they should have my high school transcripts.

I'm reasonably confident that I'll be starting in July *crosses fingers* :)

I didn't get any many decent pictures of my make up today, but I figured...what the heck I'll share anyway.  I thought maybe neutral would be the way to go since I was essentially going to a school interview.  I wouldn't want to scare them away with all my lime green, bright blue and such.

Not myself....today!

We didn't get to picnic today.

The weather report called for a high temperature of 79 degrees and intermittent thunderstorms/showers.  Part of our plans included the kids swimming in a local creek--an idea that they were VERY excited about--and the weather just didn't match up with our plans.  Tomorrow's weather is supposed to be much more swimmer-friendly so we postponed our picnic until then.

After spending so much of my week accomplishing things, I really didn't feel like doing much around the house.  I was mostly lazy but I knew I wanted to play with my makeup....well, just because.

I had a few ideas in mind but I finally settled on entering makeup geek's Christina Aguilera inspired weekly challenge.  I have no fantasies that I'll actually win, but I had fun and I think I did a pretty decent job :)

How this makeup addict gets up and goes when she has no get up and go...

I did not want to leave the house yesterday. Nope. No way. No How. My sweetie and I had been relaxing (read: being utterly lazy) all day and it was wonderful. So many days we always have someplace to go...laundry, groceries, post office etc. But despite how much I was enjoying being a bump on a log, I ended up having to make a trip out to do some banking and a little shopping. Yesterday (unlike today) was an extremely sunny, gorgeous day. And since I really wasn't feeling the whole idea of leaving my cozy chair and bum-around-the-house clothes, I decided to do some bright colorful makeup to try and cheer me up and put me in the right frame of mind to deal with the outside world.

I was inspired by Eden Blue whose blog can be found here

Eyes

Urban Decay Primer Potion (all the way to brow and along lower lash line)
Concrete Minerals--Juvenile (on lid to the crease, inner half of lower lash line)
120 Palette--bright dark green, third row down, third row in from the right (crease and outer half of lower lash line) and a little mix of brown and reddish brown for my brows (still trying to find the right shade for them) oh and I used some black from this palette as well (outer v)
My old faithful generic Almondine (highlight)
Maybelline define-a-line eyeliner in black
Maybelline Colossal mascara in black

Face
Monistat Anti-Chafing Gel (Primer)
Sassy Minerals foundation--Cool/Fair
Sassy Minerals finishing powder--Light

No lips because a)I was feeling lazy and b)I often make that makeup faux pas since I'm not really a big fan of stuff on my lips anyway :)

And this one is my daughter, Addy, and I being super silly. I wuvs her...she rocks!

**Yesterday's Tidbits**

My Mood: LAZY!!!!!!
My Song: 'Sexy Chick' by David Guetta f/ Akon. Because a) I am and b)I needed something peppy to get me energized and moving.
My dinner: No kids at home last night so I just cooked up some chicken patties. Had them on bread with lettuce and tomato. Homemade potato salad. Unsweetened iced tea with lemon.
