Hits and Misses

Or maybe I should say Misses and Hits....because I'm going to save the best for last.

I haven't been feeling very creative lately.  I've been clinging to makeup that I know works for me and doesn't take much time to do.  But I have two LOTD's to share that weren't my "same old stuff".

I love orange and purple.  I love orange and purple looks when I see them other people.  I just haven't figured out how to make them work for me.  This look is just...ok.  The pictures are really bad because I did this look later in the evening and I don't have proper lighting.  I almost always do my makeup and photograph it as early as possible so I can take advantage of the natural sunlight.

I used Fyrinnae's Pyromantic Erotica and Sugarpill's Poison Plum.  I feel really meh about this.  It's missing something...or it just plain sucks...I haven't decided yet :)

 But this next one...I am especially proud of.  I wanted to give my Sugarpill Burning Heart Quad some love.  I bought it.  I love looking at it.  But aside from using a little yellow as an accent here and there, I hadn't really used it since I bought it.  I use my other Sugarpill quad all the time so I figure it was only fair to give this one a shot :) I used all four colors in the quad (Flamepoint, Love +, Buttercupcake, and Poison Plum)  I wore this to school last Friday night and got a ton of compliments!

That's about it for now.  I have three finals this week, so I'm not sure how much time I'll have for makeup.  I really should study....but we'll see what happens :)
