I'm in LOVE!!!

When it comes to makeup, I'm an eyeshadow addict.

When it comes to eyeshadow....blues, oranges, and purples(and the occasional chartreuse) are my crack...the bolder and sparklier (is that even a word???) they are--the better I like them.

But I've fallen in love....with a GREEN!!!



A couple of weeks ago, I put in an order to Sassy Minerals because I needed a refill on my foundation--and they threw in some free samples.  One of which was SPIN THE BOTTLE. 

Their website describes it as a bold green with shimmers of gold.  Neither that description nor the picture on the site do this color any justice.  Which is probably why I overlooked this shade in the past.  I have tons of samples from them but never thought to give this one a try. 

I'm so glad I got this as a free sample!  It's such a beautiful green.  It has great color payoff and staying power as well.  I tried to swatch it--which didn't work out--and I'm still trying to get it off my hand as I'm out of makeup remover.  It didn't stain.....I swatched it with UDPP and pixie epoxy and it just doesn't want to budge! :)

I've been wearing it a lot as liner.  It's been too hot to do full-face looks and I haven't really gone anywhere lately where I felt like putting that much effort into my makeup.  I think it adds a nice pop of color to a basically plain face. (I highly recommend using Fyrinnae Pixie Epoxy with this color as it really helps retain the shimmer)

Today I did a simple look pairing it up with Concrete Minerals Swamped.  My picture taking skills super suck today, so this best I could come up with:

Even my pictures don't show off how super pretty Spin the Bottle is.  I swear, if this green was a guy...I'd be in stalker mode!!

It isn't often that I buy a full size of any shade.  But I'm seriously considering this one. 

Yep, it's that serious.

**Today's Tidbits**
My Mood:  Super EXCITED!!! I start school tomorrow!!!  This week has felt like it has been dragging by.  I can't wait to get back into my education.

My Song:  I've really been loving "Love the Way You Lie" by Eminem f/ Rhianna.  I know I already said I loved the whole album but this one really speaks to me.  Reminds me of my past and makes me thankful for the positive influences that the kids, Jeff, and Alex have been on my life and how things could have been so different.
My Look:  Hahhahahahahahahaha....unless you call my favorite t-shirt, dark jeans, and sparkly silver Chucks a look! 
My Dinner:  I've been so good lately.  Haven't been snacking...only eating one portion...healthy choices.  Tonight I'm going to blow it all out of the water by taking the family out to Cici's Pizza.  We just recently got one of those here and everyone want to try it out!
